Organizations and workspaces
Organizations
Section titled “Organizations”An organization is the account. It owns one or more workspaces and is where billing and organization-wide administration live. When you sign up, Flowstate creates an organization for you and makes you its owner.
Organization roles:
| Role | Can |
|---|---|
org_owner |
Everything, including transferring ownership and deleting the organization. |
org_admin |
Manage members and workspaces. |
org_billing_admin |
Manage billing without access to workspace content. |
org_member |
Belong to the organization; access is granted per workspace. |
Workspaces
Section titled “Workspaces”A workspace is where processes are defined and run. Members, integrations and the audit log are scoped to the workspace, so two teams in the same organization can work side by side without seeing each other’s processes.
Every workspace has a timezone. It is the default for schedules and activity times, and it is what “09:00” means unless a trigger or source event says otherwise.
Workspace roles:
| Role | Can |
|---|---|
workspace_admin |
Manage members, invites, integrations and all processes. Read the audit log. |
workspace_member |
Create and edit processes, publish runs, complete activities assigned to them. |
Invites
Section titled “Invites”Admins invite people by email. An invite is valid for seven days and can be revoked before it is accepted. Accepting adds the person to the workspace with the role chosen by the inviter; if they do not have a Flowstate account yet, one is created as part of accepting.
Audit log
Section titled “Audit log”Every change to members, processes and runs is recorded with who did it and when. Workspace admins can browse the log from the workspace.
